Stepping Out is a recreation program for people on the Autism Spectrum with a focus on fitness!
We provide a high-intensity inclusive training environment to help empower our athletes form positive relationships with exercise and build lasting friendships with each other.
Workouts take place at Vision Sports Centre and the coaches in the program are AAFS staff and Practicum Students from Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary. Operating roughly at a 1:2 ratio of staff/volunteers to athletes, we do circuit workouts, yoga, stretching, and sometimes sports like basketball and soccer within our workouts.
We hope to break a sweat with you!
