Our mission is to fully immerse our youth in the vibrant world surrounding them. From thrilling outdoor adventures to mind-bending cultural experiences, AAFS members have seized every chance to engage in the countless recreational events and activities that Calgary has to offer! We hate to name drop, but we visit places like Calaway Park, Calgary Stampede, Hitmen and Calgary Flames, Cat Cafe, Movie Night at Cineplex. We even offer unique programs for our little ones aged 4-9 and a Girls Club for female identifying members.
At AAFS, one of our primary goals is to immerse our youth in the community around them. Over the years, AAFS members have had opportunities to engage in almost every recreational event and activity that Calgary has to offer! AAFS takes full advantage of the belief that our community is the largest and most dynamic classroom, and exploring that classroom can teach almost any lesson.
An invaluable partner in AAFS community outing programs is Kids Up Front, who provide tickets to events in Calgary for families and groups that may not otherwise have the opportunity. Thanks to Kids Up Front, our members also get to enjoy Flames and Stampeders games, movie openings, concerts, festivals and much, much more!
